Stretching for flexibility and fitness
If you shy away from traditional exercise as I do, you might enjoy starting to increase your fitness by simply stretching. If you've never tried it, you will be pleasantly surprised at how good it makes you feel. It sounds really simple, because it is, and that's the beauty of it.
Here is a great guide to some simple stretches you can do in a few minutes every day (or at least every other day). Couple these with walking for half an hour at least 3-4 times each week, and your fitness level will increase quickly and easily. This is especially important for us busy mums with not a lot of time and many responsibilities.
